The topic of discussion over the past week has been this new coupon craze that is sweeping the nation. Do some googling if you have no clue what we're talking about.
So the first question is how does this all work. We've got a basic knowledge of how to use coupons... duh. But people are cracking the system and figuring out how to really use coupons and get more bang for their buck, and the best part is they are sharing this information via the internet. So we've got to do some studying online and get the down low from friends who are on board with this craze and learn the down and dirty of coupon-clipping, buy-at-the-best-price shopping.
Now once we get a basic working knowledge of how this all works, the second question is are we really gonna use it? We're talking lots of prep work: searching for coupons, actual clipping of the coupons, organizing the coupons, remembering the coupons, planning the shopping route, studying each store's sales routines, etc, etc, etc, and then repeat each week. And assuming we're good at this, at the end of each month, we will have saved some serious cash from our grocery bills.
So what about you? Are you in or out? We'll give you some time to think about your answer. Go try it out for awhile, take it for a test drive, sleep on it... That's what we've decided to do. We're gonna at least take the band wagon around the corner.
